Our Endorsed Qualifications (under the Focus Awards FQP scheme) are designed to give you a deeper knowledge and understanding of your chosen subject. They are not regulated qualifications (which means they do not appear on the Ofqual Register of Regulated Qualifications); but are designed to give recognition to the learning you undertake, and are ideal for those who are looking to expand their knowledge for CPD purposes, or to increase employability.These courses consist of a range of tutor-marked assignments that you can complete at your own pace. This involves writing a series of essays based on the topics covered; assignments are marked on a ‘pass’ or ‘refer’ basis, and you can resubmit your work should you not achieve a ‘pass’. Upon completion of your assignments, you will receive a Certificate of Achievement from Focus Awards and be able to download a Distance Learning Plus certificate of completion.
Our Regulated Qualifications (i.e. those with QCF or RQF in the title) are designed to help with career progression or to enable you to progress onto further study. Regulated Qualifications are nationally recognised and can be found on the Ofqual Register of Regulated Qualifications. These qualifications may require portfolio work, and / or practical assessment in the workplace. Upon completion of your studies you would receive a nationally recognised qualification.
